The Meridian 1942 Broadsheet
This is the first in what I hope to be a series relating to the news through different time periods, I want to use this range to explore various mediums. I started by creating a fake newsgroup called The Meridian and this first prop is a 1940’s broadsheet newspaper using Henry V as the main story.
I completed a workshop with Annie Atkins in February of 2017.
The workshop introduced me to the basics of working to a script, shooting
schedule, continuity, research, lettering and typography, calligraphy and
creating and finishing paper props.
