Welcome to my Graphic Design Portfolio!

I am thrilled to invite you to check out my past work, design skills, and professional experience, and get to know a bit more about me. Take a moment and look around, and contact me directly to learn more.

I have over 12 years experience as a Graphic Designer and am currently working as a freelance Graphic Designer and open to new projects.

Prior to the lockdown I was Head of Design at iSupply Printers, in my nine years there I worked as a Senior Graphic Designer in the Design studio where I successfully managed graphic design projects from concept through completion. As Head of Design for the company I also supervised seven designers over 2 branches.

In 2017 I completed a Graphic Design for Film-making Workshop with Annie Atkins. The main focus was on drawing and creating props by hand but we also covered the working relationships on set with the production manager, set decorators and prop master and how to break down the script.

In September of 2017 I completed Essentials of Filmmaking in Filmbase in Dublin. The course covered screenwriting, producing, directing, camera, sound and lighting and editing. I did both introductory lessons and practical exercises. Over the course of the week my group wrote a short screenplay, acted and filmed it and edited the content. We also looked into using different cameras types. Setting up shots, using lighting techniques and sound. Finally we had a crash course in production, it was intimidating but informative.

In January 2018 I completed Six Production Design Essentials with David Henry at the London Film School. The aim of the course was to develop abilities and crafts in the key areas of: Basic Drafting; Location Surveys; Model Making; Lens Angles, Aspect Ratios & Lens Projections; Script Breakdowns and Storyboarding.

I am actively engaged in my local drawing group, Galway Pub Scrawl, and recently redesigned the logo and the banners for the blog.
